The Parish Council meets in Gazeley Village Hall at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of every month, with the exception of August.
The agenda for each meeting is posted on the village notice-board a minimum of three working days prior to the meeting.
Members of the public and the press are welcome to attend all meetings of the Parish Council and at the end of every meeting there is a Public Forum which gives residents an opportunity to comment on matters on the agenda or to raise any other issue of concern to them.
The Parish Council exists to represent the interests of the people of Gazeley. It has a responsibility to protect footpaths, village greens and common land, and deals with matters such as street lighting, seats and shelters and highway matters in conjunction with the county council. The Parish Council is consulted, as a right, by the district council on planning matters.
The Annual General Meeting is held in May of every year, as is the Annual Parish Meeting, which is held for the benefit of residents who can raise any issue of concern to them. This also presents an ideal opportunity for village organisations to advertise their activities or to give an annual report of their proceedings to residents of the parish if they wish.
Agendas of forthcoming meetings, minutes of past meetings and publications produced by the Parish Council can be found via the Parish Council link at the top of this page.
