Refuse Collection: Household waste is collected by Forest Heath District Council on a Tuesday. Each household is provided with three wheelie bins, black for general household waste, brown for kitchen and garden waste and blue for recyclables including paper, cardboard, tins and hard plastics. There are also two recycling points in the village, one outside The Chequers public house and the other next to the playing field in Highwood Crescent.
Newspaper deliveries: From Monday to Friday, newpapers are delivered to households in the village by Mrs Linda Wicks from Mildenhall, Telephone 01638 583872 and on Sundays by Mr David Hartnell from Red Lodge, Telephone 01638 750124.
