Gazeley United Charities
Gazeley United Charities was formed from several small charities that existed to help the poor of the village, donating fuel, blankets and a supply of herrings in the winter months. The Poor's Fuel Allotment was governed by Gazeley Inclosures Act. An endowment of 31 acres of agricultural land situated to the North of the A.45 was managed by appointed Trustees and the income from the rental of the land was used to alleviate hardship amongst the poor inhabitants occupying cottages in the parish.
Gazeley United Charities still provides help to those in need in the village today.
